License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement" or "EULA") is a binding legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity, hereinafter "User" or "you") and Jellyfish, LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") for the use of the TaskRing mobile application, including any updates, features, or online services associated with it (collectively, the "Application").
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not download, install, or use the Application.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, Jellyfish, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use a copy of the Application on a mobile device owned or controlled by you, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, and in accordance with the usage rules set forth in Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
2. Restrictions on Use
You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:
- No Copying or Modification: Copy (except as expressly permitted by this license), decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, modify, or create derivative works of the Application, any updates, or any part thereof.
- No Commercial Exploitation: Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Application.
- No Unlawful Use: Use the Application for any unlawful purposes or in any manner that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.
- No Security Circumvention: Bypass, modify, defeat, or tamper with any security measures, digital rights management (DRM), or authentication systems protecting the Application.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
You acknowledge and agree that the Application, including but not limited to all copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, design layout, clock interfaces, routines, and other intellectual property rights, are the sole and exclusive property of Jellyfish, LLC. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership of intellectual property to you.
4. CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Alarm & Device Reliability

TaskRing is a productivity, alarm, and scheduling utility designed to help manage your time. However, due to variables out of our control—including but not limited to operating system updates, battery levels, background processing restrictions (e.g., iOS system performance constraints), hardware malfunctions, volume levels, "Do Not Disturb" status, and user error—alarms, timers, and notifications may occasionally fail to ring, sound, or display.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You will not rely solely on the Application for critical wake-ups, medical administration, flight departures, important business meetings, or any event where failure to wake up or be notified would result in financial loss, personal injury, or distress.
- You are responsible for ensuring your device is properly charged, configured (sufficient volume, appropriate notifications permissions enabled), and that the operating system has not blocked background operations.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Jellyfish, LLC, its officers, employees, or affiliates, be liable for any personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, loss of employment opportunities, or any other commercial damages or losses) arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Application, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, or otherwise), even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. No Warranty
The Application is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Jellyfish, LLC expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
7. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or Jellyfish, LLC. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination of the Agreement, you must cease all use of the Application and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Application.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement and the relationship between you and Jellyfish, LLC shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State where the Company is incorporated (or the United States, as applicable), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to this EULA shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the Company's jurisdiction.
